Holly Ham
Managing Director, Pacific Square
Holly Ham is the Managing Director at Pacific Square. In this role, she advises mid-sized to large organizations seeking market expansion with solutions bridging technology, business, and government. Ms. Ham previously served in senior executive roles driving customer engagement and strategic growth across the government and new markets. In the public sector, Ms. Ham held several senior executive roles in three federal agencies within the Executive Branch of the federal government. Her work involved serving the American people across the United States in areas including education, commerce, housing, and civil rights.
At the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ms. Ham served as Director of Special Projects, driving agency-wide transformational initiatives to optimize HUD's operations with improved delivery of service.
At the U.S. Department of Commerce, Ms. Ham served as Senior Advisor in the Minority Business Development Agency, providing solutions to help minority business enterprises (MBEs) stimulate the U.S. GDP. Under Ms. Ham's leadership, MBDA kick started a gateway to a virtual business center bringing tools, resources and funding to develop, grow and mature the country's approximately 11 million MBEs.
At the U.S. Department of Education, Ms. Ham served as Assistant Secretary for Management overseeing the agency's human capital management, security, logistics, facilities, student privacycompliance, EEO services, and records management. In her role as Executive Director for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Ms. Ham advocated for approximately 22 million AAPIs across the United States and territories for improved access and resources.
Prior to serving with the federal government in Washington, D.C., Ms. Ham spent over 20 years working in private enterprise focused on increasing organizations' productivity through technology. In the early part of her career, she worked as a management consultant for Fortune 100 firms, achieving hundreds of millions of dollars in savings by increasing efficiency through a combination of business process improvement, application of new technologies, and the redeployment and retraining the workforce.
Ms. Ham also drove business growth in sales and business development by leading multiple teams working closely with corporate executives to provide strategic solutions to complex senior-level challenges, including enterprise data management and security, enterprise resource planning initiatives and enhancements, application modernization, and cloud initiatives. Ms. Ham is a graduate of the University of Houston, where she received both her Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees, graduating as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and two children.
